How the score breaks down
How we know
Desk research, 23 September 2026. aZengear (Artdriver Ltd, London) is a repair-and-survival gear brand; its only fashion is compression socks, and those are all that reach the shop. The sock listings state a composition (65% nylon, 20% polyester, 15% elastane) and nothing in the 77-row feed names an animal material beyond the down-jacket repair patches, which are excluded as non-fashion. The site links to a sustainability strategy and a brand page, but both returned errors when checked, and no factory, certification, animal-materials or testing statement was found.
Questions people ask about aZengear
- Is aZengear vegan?
- On the published evidence we reviewed, we found no animal-derived materials in aZengear's current range. The brand has not yet confirmed that in writing, which is one of the things an audit asks for.
- Does aZengear test on animals?
- We found no evidence that it does. It has not yet given us a signed no-testing declaration, so we cannot confirm it either.
- What is aZengear's Fashion Without Cruelty score?
- 15 of 100, assessed from published evidence. 85 or more, with both gates clear and an evidence audit on file, earns the Good badge; 45 of the points still open depend on evidence only the brand can give.
- Can aZengear earn the Good badge?
- Yes, if it reaches 85 points and completes an evidence audit with us. Published evidence alone takes a brand to about 55.
