How we know

Assessed

Desk research, 19 September 2026. Each product page states a composition and weight (t-shirts 100% ringspun cotton at 150–200gsm; hoodies 80% cotton, 20% polyester at 280gsm), and nothing in the range names an animal material. That is the whole of the published evidence: the About and FAQ pages give the company’s history (Chargrilled Clothing Ltd, Bedfordshire, trading since 2005, printing to order) but no blank-garment supplier, printer, ink, factory, certification, sustainability or animal-testing statement of any kind. Clear of both gates on what it publishes, and thin on everything else until the brand opens its records.

Questions people ask about Chargrilled

Is Chargrilled vegan?
On the published evidence we reviewed, we found no animal-derived materials in Chargrilled's current range. The brand has not yet confirmed that in writing, which is one of the things an audit asks for.
Does Chargrilled test on animals?
We found no evidence that it does. It has not yet given us a signed no-testing declaration, so we cannot confirm it either.
What is Chargrilled's Fashion Without Cruelty score?
15 of 100, assessed from published evidence. 85 or more, with both gates clear and an evidence audit on file, earns the Good badge; 45 of the points still open depend on evidence only the brand can give.
Can Chargrilled earn the Good badge?
Yes, if it reaches 85 points and completes an evidence audit with us. Published evidence alone takes a brand to about 55.
