How we know

Assessed

Desk research, 24 September 2026. Ethletic is the only brand in this round whose vegan mark we could confirm in the issuer’s own register: PETA-Approved Vegan has listed it since January 2022. Its FAQ answers “Are your sneakers completely vegan? Yes, 100 percent”, and it bonds soles with natural latex rather than animal glue. It names its canvas factory (Talon, in Sialkot, Pakistan) and its organic cotton source (Chetna Organic, India). It does not name the makers of the recycled-PU range that now fills most of the store, and several product pages give no composition at all. There is no no-testing declaration and no dated impact report. The company named in the site’s legal notice has also changed, and we will ask about that when we send this assessment.

Sources

Every source we relied on, checked on . Pages change: if one of these now says something different, tell us and we will re-check.

  1. FAQ: “completely vegan? Yes, 100 percent”

  3. Supply chain: Talon factory, components checked

Questions people ask about Ethletic

Is Ethletic vegan?
On the published evidence we reviewed, we found no animal-derived materials in Ethletic's current range. The brand has also confirmed it in writing.
Does Ethletic test on animals?
We found no evidence that it does. It has not yet given us a signed no-testing declaration, so we cannot confirm it either.
What is Ethletic's Fashion Without Cruelty score?
20 of 100, assessed from published evidence. 85 or more, with both gates clear and an evidence audit on file, earns the Good badge; 40 of the points still open depend on evidence only the brand can give.
Can Ethletic earn the Good badge?
Yes, if it reaches 85 points and completes an evidence audit with us. Published evidence alone takes a brand to about 55.
