PatPat
Family-matching clothing for babies, children and adults, made in China.
Red tag: PatPat sells wool.
PatPat sells wool: some of its baby sleeping bags and children’s pyjamas are listed as 18% wool. So the brand carries a red tag. Most of what it sells is cotton, polyester or bamboo, and those pieces take the brand penalty only.

How the score breaks down
How we know
Desk research, 10 October 2026. PatPat sells family-matching and children’s clothing, made in China, and most of it is cotton, polyester, bamboo viscose or lyocell. Some of its baby sleeping bags and children’s pyjamas are not: their own product pages give “18% wool” and “18% Australian Wool”. So the brand carries a red tag, and those pieces are held back from our Shop. We also hold back a set of rompers described as “95% Lyocell natural silk” until we know what that means. It publishes no animal or testing statement, no supplier list and no certification we could confirm; its sustainability page lists OEKO-TEX and a restricted-substances list as plans. In 2022 the UK product-safety regulator reported a choking hazard in a toy sold through PatPat.

Questions people ask about PatPat
- Is PatPat vegan?
- No. PatPat sells wool, so its range is not vegan and it carries our red tag. Any animal-free pieces we list from it score 50 points below what the same evidence would earn from a brand that clears both gates.
- Does PatPat test on animals?
- We found no evidence that it does. It has not yet given us a signed no-testing declaration, so we cannot confirm it either.
- What is PatPat's Fashion Without Cruelty score?
- −100. The rubric gives it 0 of 100 for what it publishes, then 50 points come off for selling animal-derived materials and a further 50 for the materials themselves. Red scores always sit below zero.
- Can PatPat earn the Good badge?
- Not while it sells animal-derived materials. A red brand cannot be verified, so no fee can change its score.
