How we know

Assessed

Desk research, 24 September 2026. The longest-standing all-vegan footwear brand we have assessed, and one of the few made largely in the UK and Europe. Its FAQ says “everything we sell is Vegan friendly”, and every product page we checked, from trainers and Solovair boots to belts and wallets, was synthetic or plant-based. The brand names its materials (Vegetan microfibres, Bio Eco lining, Piñatex, Apple Skin) but not who makes them. It gives factory countries but not names, and publishes no testing or glue declaration and no vegan mark. The PETA logo on its site belongs to PETA’s Business Friends supporter scheme, which is not a vegan certification.

Questions people ask about Vegetarian Shoes

Is Vegetarian Shoes vegan?
On the published evidence we reviewed, we found no animal-derived materials in Vegetarian Shoes's current range. The brand has also confirmed it in writing.
Does Vegetarian Shoes test on animals?
We found no evidence that it does. It has not yet given us a signed no-testing declaration, so we cannot confirm it either.
What is Vegetarian Shoes's Fashion Without Cruelty score?
5 of 100, assessed from published evidence. 85 or more, with both gates clear and an evidence audit on file, earns the Good badge; 40 of the points still open depend on evidence only the brand can give.
Can Vegetarian Shoes earn the Good badge?
Yes, if it reaches 85 points and completes an evidence audit with us. Published evidence alone takes a brand to about 55.
