How we know

Assessed

Desk research, 22 October 2026. We read zedsleep.co, its FAQ and science pages, and opened eight of its 16 listings. Every garment page gives the same composition, 89% TENCEL Micro Modal and 11% ROICA V550 elastane, designed in the UK, with fabric from Austria and making in Portugal; the sleep mask adds a recycled polyester fill. We found no silk, wool or other animal material; silk appears only in a comparison chart. That earned points for per-item disclosure. The brand names its fibres but not its fabric mill or Portuguese factory, makes no vegan or animal-testing statement, and claims OEKO-TEX Standard 100, STeP and the EU Ecolabel without certificate numbers, so we could not confirm them. Laboratory and Loughborough University results are cited without dates or reports.

Questions people ask about Zed Sleep

Is Zed Sleep vegan?
On the published evidence we reviewed, we found no animal-derived materials in Zed Sleep's current range. The brand has not yet confirmed that in writing, which is one of the things an audit asks for.
Does Zed Sleep test on animals?
We found no evidence that it does. It has not yet given us a signed no-testing declaration, so we cannot confirm it either.
What is Zed Sleep's Fashion Without Cruelty score?
15 of 100, assessed from published evidence. 85 or more, with both gates clear and an evidence audit on file, earns the Good badge; 45 of the points still open depend on evidence only the brand can give.
Can Zed Sleep earn the Good badge?
Yes, if it reaches 85 points and completes an evidence audit with us. Published evidence alone takes a brand to about 55.
